Description
This quick and easy recipe features tender steak bites infused with garlic flavor, paired with crispy golden potatoes. Perfect for busy weeknights, it comes together in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Instructions
- Start by washing and halving the baby potatoes. If they’re a bit larger, feel free to quarter them for quicker cooking. This should take about 5 minutes.
- In a pot, add the halved potatoes with enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
- While the potatoes are boiling, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
- Next, add the drained potatoes to the skillet with the garlic. Toss them gently in the garlic oil, allowing them to get crispy for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, add the butter, and sprinkle with dried rosemary. Toss everything together until heated through and the butter melts, about 1-2 minutes.
- Plate your delicious garlic steak bites and potatoes, and enjoy while hot!
